About ARI.Software
ARI.Software builds ARI, an AI-native productivity suite that you host yourself and can shape into anything. It ships with dozens of built-in modules — tasks, knowledge, documents, contacts, analytics, health — and lets anyone add new ones by describing what they need in plain English. No forking, no rebuild, no coding required.
What we believe
Software that runs your work should belong to you. Every prompt, document, and embedding in ARI stays inside your own perimeter, on your machine, your server, or your cloud, on top of a standard PostgreSQL database you control. The source code is available, so nothing about how ARI handles your data has to be taken on trust — it can be read.
We also believe extensibility should not be a professional-services engagement. Most productivity tools ask you to bend your process to their model. ARI inverts that: describe the module you want, preview it in real time, and deploy it in minutes. That is the whole product thesis, and it is set out at length in our manifesto.
Who ARI is for
Teams and individuals who want command over the software that runs their work: engineering and operations teams with compliance obligations, founders assembling an AI-native company, and power users who have outgrown off-the-shelf tools. ARI runs equally well as one person's private command center and as a governed workspace for an organization, with SSO, role-based access control, retention policy, and a full audit trail available from day one.
How ARI is built
ARI installs with a single command on macOS, Windows, and Linux, or deploys to your own server or cloud. You bring your own AI provider keys — OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, and OpenRouter are supported out of the box, and each module can use its own provider and model. Keys are encrypted and stored on your own server. Security is layered in from the database up, and built-in health checks actively probe your instance for exposed endpoints. The architecture and security pages document how the pieces fit together.
The company
ARI.Software is operated by Panthera Ventures Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation. We are a small team that uses ARI to run our own company — the modules in the community library started as tools we needed ourselves.
